Maddie Hopkins has had a growing passion for dance since the age of three. She has attended multiple studios, Medina Dancexcel being the longest of nine years. She has training is ballet, jazz, and lyrical/contemporary as well as some training in pointe. Maddie has attended many conventions and had the opportunity to compete for one year on Dancexcel’s Youth Company where she learned from many professional dancers. She has been apart of a performance team for all of her years at Dancexcel including Glitter Girls, Ballet Company and Teen Dance Force, and enjoys sharing her love for dance with others. She has many years of experience student teaching with ages three to eight in all different styles of dance. She also was apart of National Honor Society for the Dance Arts where she completed multiple service projects. Maddie graduated Medina High School in 2019, and is now attending Baldwin Wallace University studying Public Health and Biology with the hopes of attending Medical School after her undergraduate. She is very excited to now be a part of the Legacy Dance Academy staff to continue sharing her passion for dance with all of her students!
